Doors open at 11:00AM

LOCATION: Los Angeles , CA
United States (US)

Telling our stories, experiencing our art ; sharing our history!

Through the eyes and voices of traditional and contemporary artists, community leaders, cultural historians, activists, and educators, this once-a-month Sunday cultural experience celebrates the diverse influences and achievements of art and culture from the African American Diaspora.

The 2009 season includes The Community Art Project, Shoe String and Saving the Environment! An art project guided each month by local artist and educator Teresa Tolliver. Ms. Tolliver conducts hands-on interactive workshops where participants work with recycled and found materials or objects to create their own art project. Bring in your found materials and get started!
